I am not really sure if the church is against this because they rather hark on it and denounce it as immoral in its totality rather than not make a noise at all. Because if they do keep their silence on this, it too is a suspect. Because when they do, SOME would think they are in favor of this -- imagine CONDOMS; it will put a stop the introduction of Bastard children born of a priest father, or of braver priests who would have 98% protection against AIDS.

I mean It is a good thing that he shares his blessings and donate to the victims of calamity with such fanfare. But it is ENTIRELY different when he goes up that stage and SHARE it with strange mix of TRADPOLS and HOLY COWS. How touching when he said that there'll be no Manny Pacquiao if these contraceptions where around or something to that effect. Let's do the math assuming his assumptions are true: for every 1,000,000 dirt poor pinoys there will be a Manny Pacquio, So we have 999,000 dirt poor pinoy. And the 1 Manny Paqcuiao will still take at least 16 years of terrestrial life before realizing his success.
