There's a paradox nagging inside my head brought about by the Catholic prelates penchant for intruding to a clearly secular affair. And I hope that if they do meddle with these secular undertakings of the government, they should have at least prepare a logical and viable arguments. Stop these non-sequiturs and sweeping generalizations. We're not ischoopids.
Back with the paradox. What if in the middle of the homily, the priest asked who among the crowd watches porn - or even had the audacity to ask a particular kind of porn, say under-age porn bordering on pedophilia (which many of the scandalous priestly activities have already been exposed)? Should we raised our hands and exposed to everyone that we are a lusty sannofabitches? Or should we refrain and pretend not to hear the question?
Did we sin when we refused to raise our hands and acknowledge to everyone that we enjoy watching porn? Or was it a valid self-defense, defense from the prejudicial eyes of the church-whores?
