At exactly 10 a.m., I looked outside to see if the sun's ray is blocked by a giant meteor, and to my dismay - it is still there searing the surrounding at 36 Celsius. Still hoping, I looked at the nearest mountain, a sleeping volcano, to see if it's about to spew its pyroclastic death arsenal- but no. Also, there is no sign of the the invading alien mother ship either.
The earth is not moving, neither is the sky crying.
The birds are still chirping, dogs barking, motorcycles and jeepneys outside are still racing. So goes my earthly life.
