After sweating 2 hours of unwanted calories, off we went to Banchetto. We've been planning to go there since the second quarter of last year, but it's got to be Rebecca Black's Friday last Friday for the star aligned in favor of its happening.
The long street was filled with food booths- and a horde of hungry hippos. Hungry hippos - that we didn't expect. The throng of hippos were so hungry we thought we are in the middle of the Sarengeti plain amidst the seasonal migration of African wildlife. It was jungle out there, seriously. There was so much food to choose from that I was afraid I'll end up with a berjer. LOL. Luckily, I didn't- I got myself a lengua and creamy baby potatoes.
So we learned our lesson; must avoid the rush of call center agent's breaktime, prolly at 2 am. Also, buy the food we want as we see it because checking all the food on display and going back is laborious and the hunger pangs would have been diminished by then in exchange of UMAY factor.

IC's
Elbi is love. I've already develop an animus revertendi with this college town. Going back brings all the good college memories: Math 17, Palma Bridge, The Lib, BioSci, The Bridge... oh happiness.
So yesterday, I met 2 of my college barkada and we went to IC's, comfort of "the familiar". There, we realized we haven't seen each other for 4 years. What a long 4 years it has been?! One is getting married in July (another barkada will tie the knot on May).
And so we updated each other on what's going on with our pitiful lives. Surprisingly, K was also sent to SanFo for a training. Funny exchanges, I really missed that place. D, on the other hand, is now working in Makati. Oh the lives of a developer/programmer. One thing we agreed, we are over payed. LOL.
