Whenever I am in Old Manila, I relish the novels of past - the old calles, tributaries, and pueblos of Noli and Fili. Hence, I find the nonsensical urges of pompous politicians on renaming places. Hell, they call South China Sea as West Philippine Sea! Now it is Edsa becoming Cory Avenue?!
