i've chatted an old friend
she told me some loose ends.
a J guy likes him so much
but she can't love-like him back.
what's keeping her from doing so?
because she's into some E.
he's the epitome of everything she likes
thin tall christian and all.
but the J guy that she described --
the one who professed his love
seems to like her no matter what.
he described himself as chubby, she said he's witty.
the way she described the J suitor,
my hat's off the elocutor, his ways are awesome.
risking the friendship, gallantry, honesty.
i can't be that blunt, to the point, and gallop
silently i would help him in his battle
occassionally tweak my friend to look his way
barrage her incessantly, maybe that way
from E to J she finds a better day
