rich-Richer; poor-Poorer

First off, I'm not rich. not yet. 

But i don't get why many critics have aversion with the rich people getting richer, and poor people getting poorer. If they want to alleviate the poverty condition of our godforsaken country, then why not write something constructive. Maybe something that the government may do, or something that would directly affect the lives of the poor : correct mindset, livelihood program, family planning, etc.

Enough with the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer. enough with the motherhood statements. Is it really amusing or startling that the rich continues to amass wealth? I don't think so, but of course with the exception of those with questionable source of wealth (drug lords, jueteng lords, etc.). The rich are getting richer because they have the proper mindset, and honestly, most of them work their asses off. The only way to stop them from becoming rich is if they self-destruct, or if they venture into condemnable habit of drug abuse/gambling/ and mindless extravagance.

On the other hand, the poor gets poorer because like the proverbial Juan Tamad, they lay waiting for the bayabas to fell into their hungry mouths. How many of them really try to uplift their status and get out of their slums?

So there, don't give us this bullshit of rich getting richer.

This entry just cross my mind. Why would one need leeches sucking his blood surreptitiously when he can donate it freely? The point is, a leech is a leech is a leech -- parasite, surviving on its host sucking his blood without permission. Exactly the essence of being a parasite, otherwise it's a pet. And who wants parasite infesting ones body?

So this is the latest mundane thing that pick the ire of the self-righteous zealots. Racist they say. One thing for sure is that scientifically the percentage is erroneous, and it trivializes Genetics. Mr. Mendel must be turning in his grave and might be thinking of unleashing the Zombie plants from his peapod experiment. Oh just like any controversy, many a Pinoy found way to make funny pun of the original (which they say needs copy editing).

On another note, a general observation base from my limited knowledge of our culture and history, Pinoy's are not particular in maintaining their bloodline to themselves unlike the Chinese or some member of Royal Family, or maybe this limitation as I understand it is base on which particular social strata I am in. Ah, yes it somehow exist. The rich marrying the rich to maintain and expand their power. The poor, they have no choice but to breed with heir kind. The middle class, oh, there's facebook.

First of June

We now enter the last month of the 2nd quarter of 2012. Everyone is muttering how fast days are, and before we know it its the BER months already. Yes, its fast alright but the question is can we keep up? Seriously, procrastinating is easier than to accomplish what it is we have to accomplish. 

Oh how the mighty has fallen, and no its not related to Pnoy's triumph. Its about Facebook's disastrous IPO.  It has lost so much of its value that Mr. Zuckerberg no longer belongs to the top tier of the world's wealthiest. Bilog din pala ang cyberworld.

Going back, the metro bid goodbye to May by rolling out a carpet of flood. Traffic at the major thoroughfares were at a standstill as the parade of the multicolored flotsam passed.
